The city of Jena is one of the most important industrial centers in the Free State of Thuringia.
It is home to well-known companies, such as Schott Werke, Jenapharm, Jenoptik, and
Carl Zeiss Jena. Friedrich Schiller University has made the name of Jena known far and wide.
The development of the city of Jena and the region around it during the last ten years has seen the formation and settlement of many new companies and institutions embodying most ad-
vanced levels of science and technology.
We have produced transformers for over 50 years. We are a spin-off of the transformer-manufacturing department of the former Zeiss industrial combine and have been a subsidiary
of SBA-TrafoTech GmbH in Heiligenstadt/Upper Franconia, since 1991. Since then, we have
grown into a firm with over 40 employees and 500-plus customers in Germany and other countries.
Design and production at high quality and favorable prices has been going on in new, modern production space and office rooms since 1999. Customized production is one of our particular strengths. High flexibility, uncompromising quality, use of proven materials, together with the professional know-how, skills and profound experience of our employees are the basis of all products and the proverbial reliability of SBA.
Our production is DIN EN ISO 2000 certified.
